Stellar Wind

Big brother is watching. Thanks to William Binney, "a former NSA code breaker" (cryptographer?), we know more about Stellar Wind, the government's project to collect all US electronic communications.  Did I write "all"?  I meant ALL. That's all phone calls, emails, SMS texts.  All.  Collect it all to sift through it to connect all the dots.  They will know all of your associates. Also see the NYTimes article: the-national-security-agencys-domestic-spying-program.
Why is this on the Op-Ed page and not on the front page?  There will be more on this.

It's even a side plot on HBO's The Newsroom.

very nice quote

Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values. It requires that their proposals be subject to argument, and amenable to reason. I may be opposed to abortion for religious reasons, but if I seek to pass a law banning the practice, I cannot simply point to the teachings of my church or evoke God's will. I have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths, including those with no faith at all.
